This term KS4 MLD pupils were given the opportunity to attend a three-day residential in Abernant Lake Hotel activity centre. This has been the first time a KS4 residential, aside from Duke of Edinburgh, has been run for over a decade and was a huge success. Pupils enjoyed the opportunity to experience abseiling, climbing and paddle boarding amongst other exciting opportunities and develop their integral skills in line with the new curriculum. Huge thanks to Mr Draper who organised and ran the trip, as well as Gemma Evans, Charlotte Hopkins and Amanda Willis who all ensured it ran smoothly and the pupils had a great time.
