Christmas Cookie Making with Class 5

We want to share a delightful experience your children in Class 5 had recently while making Christmas cookies at school!

The adventure began with each pupil searching for the perfect recipe, igniting their creativity and enthusiasm for baking. They then embarked on a fun shopping trip, armed with a shopping list to buy all the necessary ingredients. It was impressive to see everyone actively checking expiry dates and hunting for the best value—great skills for their future!

Once back at school, the pupils measured out the ingredients needed to make the dough, which was a fantastic way for them to practice their maths skills. They rolled out the dough and expertly cut out festive shapes, preparing for a delightful baking session. After the cookies were baked to golden perfection, it was time for a bit of artistry as they decorated their creations.

Of course, we also had some important lessons on tidying up, as they worked together to clean their areas. Overall, this activity allowed the children to develop essential life skills while having a tremendous amount of fun. We hope they shared their tasty treats with you, adding a special touch to your holiday celebrations!
