Class 4 Forest School - Fire-making

This week in Forest School, our learners mastered the art of fire-making! They learned about the fire triangle—fuel, oxygen, and a spark—and used flint and steel to ignite cotton wool as tinder. After collecting and cutting kindling, they carefully built their fires, feeding them with dry wood and watching them grow. This activity taught teamwork, patience, and responsibility, leaving everyone with a great sense of accomplishment and a deeper connection to nature.
